Ferndown Memory / Poppy Walk

The Ferndown dementia friendly town is joining forces with Ferndown Royal British Legion to hold a joint memory and poppy walk

This special walk is being held on Palm Sunday 14th April 2019

Registration is free from 11.30 AM to start at 12 midday

at Ferndown Royal British Legion, Church Road Ferndown BH22 9ET

There are two distances.

1K for the family and wheelchair friendly

5k multi terrain

Beverage and cakes provided after the walks

Dementia Friendly Ferndown and the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal are joining together for a walk around Ferndown to support two great causes.

To cater for all ages, there are two circular walks starting from the Royal British Legion in Church Road. The first is a short 1 Kilometre through Ferndown Town Centre with a longer 5 Kilometre route returning across Ferndown Common.

Donations from sponsorship would be gratefully received

The walks are open to all ages and are family and dog friendly so just ring

to register your name and the number of walkers and come along on the day.

Bring the dog, bring the children, bring Grandma and Grandad and enjoy an afternoon stroll to help two great causes.
